CEO of Telemedical Innovations one of the participants of the 6th Telemedical Round Table

On December 4 2024, Ireneusz Plaza – CEO of Telemedical Innovations S.A. participated in the 6th Telemedical Round Table at the Ministry of Health, which is a platform for discussion on the challenges, difficulties and needs of the clinical, scientific and business communities involved in the development of telemedicine.

During the meeting, the participants raised extremely important topics, including those related to telemedicine models, cardiology care and the National Cardiology Network:

  • Current operations and work plans regarding e-health – Hubert Życiński, Deputy Director of the e-health Department, Ministry of Health,
  • Central e-registration – assumptions and first effects of the pilot program,
  • Cardiology Care Card and e-KOK – Proposals for the implementation of new technologies for remote care and supervision of cardiology patients,
  • Assumptions of the act on the National Cardiology Network,
  • Results of the evaluation of 3 telemedical models in the field of cardiology, gynecology and obstetrics and psychiatry, which were developed using funds from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism,

As part of the discussion panel: “How to effectively assess new medical technologies?”, the panelists raised issues related to the key challenges for the Agency related to the assessment of new, innovative digital technologies and taking and planning actions to optimize the innovation assessment process.

We are pleased that telemedicine is becoming an integral part of the healthcare system, and as a result, cooperation between different sectors involved in the development of telemedicine is key to the effective implementation of modern technologies. Only through integrated efforts we can improve the quality of healthcare in Poland, thereby increasing the availability of effective digital solutions.
