In the period from March 2018 to September 2022, Telemedical Innovations Sp. z o.o. implemented the R+D project pt. “SMART HOME ECG“. Support for the project was obtained as part of the grant project entitled “Technology Accelerator Gliwice – support for R+D projects in the proof of principle and proof of concept phases in order to commercialize them and increase the supply of R+D projects attractive to investors”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
Project goal: The aim of the project is to create a mobile ECG device designed for remote and independent monitoring of the patient’s heart condition via a smartphone. The device will enable 12-lead ECG tests to be performed at home and sent via a smartphone to medical entities with telemedicine systems for the analysis of ECG records. The device will be a class 2a medical device which will include an innovative ECG belt with built-in ECG electrodes, a module for wireless data transmission and a smartphone application.
