On October 20-30, 2024, representatives of Telemedical Innovations – Ireneusz Plaza (CEO) and Anna Szymura-Ratka (Biomedical Technologies and Project Implementation Specialist), had the pleasure of taking part in The European SME Congress – a prestigious, international event organized for eleven years by the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice.
The guiding idea of this year’s edition of the Congress was “Shape the future now”. Thousands of guests during many of thematic sessions raised extremely important issues related to taxes, innovations, new technologies and marketing, presenting current trends and directions in many areas, such as economy, science and technology.
The participants of the congress were representatives of the business, technology, science, and culture sectors, but also government and local government administration, business environment institutions.
The event program consisted of nine thematic tracks, including: “A company is people”, “Law and taxes”, “Finance and investments”, “Smart City for business” and “Going Global”.
In the exhibition part of the event – “Business Expo”, we had the great pleasure of presenting the result of many years of scientific research and hard work – our innovative solution – the CARDIOVICE™ system, which allows remote monitoring of the patient’s health from anywhere in the world.
By participating in the event, the company’s representatives also had the opportunity to take part in the International Cooperation Exchange, which allowed for stationary and online meetings, during which we could, among other things, exchange experiences with other entrepreneurs from various sectors, but also talk about cooperation with potential business partners.
To sum up, the European SME Congress was a platform for all participants, including Telemedical Innovations, to gain new knowledge, exchange views, get inspired and build new business relationships.
We have established many important, promising business contacts that we will certainly use in the future and had many inspiring conversations with representatives of various companies in the industry.
